Mandy Brown Pilates

Pilates is a wonderful back-strengthening exercise regime which promotes flexibility, increased joint mobility and body tone. Treat yourself to some focused exercise and relaxation.

I offer classes for the over 50’s.

Ante-natal ladies can attend regular classes if they have participated in Pilates sessions prior to becoming pregnant. Post natal ladies are welcome once they have had their six week check and have been pronounced ready by their GP.

I also offer 1:1 sessions.

ABOUT ME

Having taught young children in Greenwich schools for over twenty years, I came to Pilates about five years ago after suffering some non-specific low back pain. I have always been interested in movement and dance, and discovered Pilates via a teacher at Greenwich Dance Agency. I decided to take a matwork course at the Pilates Institute in London. Further courses in ante/post natal Pilates, Healthy Back and 1:1 followed. My own back is much stronger these days and I really believe that the technique works. I also like the fact that you can keep doing it as you get older unlike a lot of fitness regimes that, in time, punish rather than support the body!
